Ahmadinejad says Holocaust a 'big deception'
posted 8 months ago - by John Abela
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has said it yet again...
"The identity of the liberal democracy has been exposed to the world by its protection of the most criminal regime in the history of humanity, the Zionist regime, by using the big deception of the Holocaust."
This is not the first time Ahmadinejad has said this... and it won't be the last... but I think it is important for us to remember this fact.
Ahmadinejad was speaking to a gathering of 600 international scholars who have arrived in Tehran to mark the 20th anniversary of the death of the founder of the Islamic republic, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, which falls on Thursday.
Soon after he took office in 2005, he said Israel was "doomed to be wiped off the map," a statement that enraged global powers...

IRS files $800,000 lien on Kerry campaign
posted 8 months ago - by John Abela
The Washington Times has published an article that I just had to read!
It starts this way:
The Internal Revenue Service has filed a tax lien seeking more than $800,000 from Sen. John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign
What I really got a chuckle out of was this statement:
Mr. Kerry's office said the IRS claim is erroneous and that the campaign paid its taxes correctly in 2004 when the Massachusetts Democrat challenged President Bush and lost.
Of course, the IRS is mute on the issue:
IRS spokesman Anthony Burke declined to comment on the lien or on the Kerry aide's characterization of the tax issue, saying federal law bars IRS employees from discussing individual cases.
You can grab the IRS Document here....

Ahmadinejad accused of trying to buy votes in Iran
posted 9 months ago - by John Abela
Geh, now here is something that should surprise us all *cough*
It looks like the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has started to be accused of buying his way to his next election.
Like all of those guys we need to lump into the "dictators" category, I am not surprised by this fact.
What does surprise me is the fact that the news media is actually making a deal out of it. After all, the left has become so infatuated with the realization that dicatotorship is the name of the game, why should they care.
Of course the rest of us, those with an actual brain that can reason, can fully understand the truth behind this issue. We can understand that to NOT expect men like the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to not buy their way into their...

The left foot of fellowship for the Clintons
posted 8 months ago - by John Abela
Here is a great story from TheHill.Com about how the Clintons are getting sidelined by Obama... it's a truly great read!
Here are two of my favorite parts:
It may appear odd to describe a secretary of State as marginalized, but Obama has surrounded Hillary with his people and carved up her jurisdiction geographically. Former Sen. George Mitchell (D-Maine) is in charge of Arab-Israeli relations. Dennis Ross has Iran. Former U.N. Ambassador Dick Holbrooke has Pakistan and Afghanistan. And Hillary has to share her foreign policy role on the National Security Council (NSC) with Vice President Biden, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, CIA chief Leon Panetta, and NSC staffer Samantha Powers (who once called Hillary a “monster”).

The love of money is the root of all evil
posted 8 months ago - by Willie McNillie
No country, no matter how mighty it is, can expect to maintain its greatness if it violates principles long enough. The Roman Empire ultimately fell because it ceased doing the very things which had led to its power. The great empires of a few centuries ago fell into disarray because of greed and the failure to abide by the governing principles which led to their rise.
The United States of America has steadily gone downhill during the very time it appeared to the world to be gaining strength. Ever since World War II, this country has veered in the same direction which led to the fall of the Roman, British and other once great empires. When the truth is no longer held sacred and greed is allowed to rule, the inevitable result will be collapse of the system.
Almost an entire generation...

Netanyahu Verses Obama - The Palestinian Showdown!
posted 9 months ago - by John Abela
Our man in Israeli, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, starts today a set of talks here in the USA with the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama II, about the future of the Israeli/USA relationships.
An article at reuters has this to say:
Both issues could put Netanyahu and Obama, who will meet at the White House on Monday, on a collision course...
I don't know... maybe I'm just the only one who things this way... but as I see it there is no "could" here!
President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama II has made it more than clear where he stands on the issue of a Palestinian state. (he supports it)
Likewise, so has Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it very clear where he stands on the issue of a Palestinian state. (he does not support it)
Personally I...

The Federal Reserve's role in the Meltdown
posted 7 months ago - by John Barbour
This post is in response to Willie McNillie’s the love of money is the root of all evil blog.
If you look real close you will see that the problems with our economy are caused by the Federal Reserve, a central bank that is sanctioned by the U.S. government. This bank has been given a monopoly over the supply of money. It is this power that causes the booms and busts in our economy. F.A Hayek received a Nobel prize in 1974 for explaining how this is so.
Inflation, which is caused by the Fed, encourages this immoral behavior that you are talking about (See McNillie’s blog regarding greed). Since our dollar loses its value year by year (Our dollar has lost 95% of its value since 1913), it discourages people from saving and encourages them to get into debt. (Federal Reserve notes...

Nile Gardiner, Ph.D. and Morgan Roach from over at the Heritage Foundation has posted a brillent peice documenting the 10 most significant apologies by the President of the United States in his first four months of office as they relate to foreign policy and national security issues.
I am not going to post the full details of each, but here are the 10 items themselves:
1. Apology to France and Europe ("America Has Shown Arrogance")2. Apology to the Muslim World ("We Have Not Been Perfect")3. Apology to the Summit of the Americas ("At Times We Sought to Dictate Our Terms")4. Apology at the G-20 Summit of World Leaders ("Some Restoration of America's Standing in the World")5. Biblical Economics- A primer part 3

The Lord knows the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish. They shall go up in smoke like the fat that is burned in an offering. The wicked borrow and do not repay but the righteous show mercy and give.” (Psalm 37:18-21)
Are we headed for an evil time? A couple of months before Obama was to take office The History Channel was asking that question in Crash: The Next Great Depression? In that episode the writers were comparing the present situation with that of the Great Depression in the 1930s. Reagan was compared with Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover and Greenspan was compared with Andrew Mellon (but wasn’t Mellon Secretary of Treasury and Greenspan...

Biblical Economics- A Primer

I think I finally have figured out why so many American Christians voted for Obama and why so many Christians have been voting for big government for a couple of generations now and consequentially have been voting to impoverish not only themselves but the rest of the world.
Either:
1. They have no faith – they don’t believe what God has said in His Word.[1]
Or:
2. They are confused[2]
1st option: They don’t believe or even have read what God has said in his word
The Story of Ebenezer
In 1 Samuel there is the story of how God raised up a prophet in Israel in order to deliver His people from their oppressors, the Philistines. They were to obey this prophet, whose name was Samuel and Samuel would pray to God and God would deliver them- Pretty simple. This actually happened in chapter...

Cheerios, 134 billion dollars and oil; Huh?
posted 8 months ago - by Willie McNillie
So let me see if I have this straight, and it is very hard to do so. The Obama administration wants us to have a whole new health care system which gives every single person in this country insurance. To do this, taxes must be raised all over the place in order to pay for this trillion dollar program.
At the same time, the FDA has informed General Mills that due to claims on their Cheerios cereal boxes about lowering cholesterol, the afore mentioned cereal will now be considered to be a drug. What that means is that in order to purchase a box of Cheerios, a person would have to go to the doctor, get a prescription and then go to the pharmacy to get their box of oat circles.
Now, I am not the smartest person in the world and I have not received degrees from any prestigious institutions,...

How do YOU spell D-I-S-G-R-A-C-E? I spell it P-E-O-P-L-E of P-O-W-E-R.
People of power are humans (although many think they are gods) and thus are prone to succumbing to the same errors of judgment and mistakes the rest of us make. Unfortunately, for the most part, these people never really understand what they did or do anything to rectify the situation.
People of power range from politicians to religious leaders to sports superstars to corporate heads. What they hold in common is the position of power that causes them to love the limelight, cherish the notoriety that comes with it and the endless perks that fame and fortune buys. Those in positions of power usually over time look at themselves as better than the rest of us and thus free to do whatever they feel like doing whenever...

Can Obama win over the Arabs?
posted 8 months ago - by John Abela
Here is a truly amazing article that is worth reading if you have a few minutes. Just remember, this is from a non-USA newspaper... so it's going to include real journaling, it will contain words beyond a 6 year old vocabulary, and might be longer than 6 sentences.
The author, Ramzy Baroud, has a few very awesome things worth quoting:
Of course, there is no denial that Arabs in various countries have major perceptions and expectations in common. But who is to say that there is not more common ground between the poor of Egypt and Mexico than between the elites of Egypt and Pakistan? However, such an assertion is irrelevant for one main reason: Arabs and Muslims have been demonized collectively, targeted collectively and at times, victimized collectively. In other words, it is US foreign policy...

President Obama looses a 25% vote of confidence!
posted 8 months ago - by John Abela
American President Barack Hussein Obama II has lost a massive 25% vote of confidence from our good friends in Israel according to a report from The Jerusalem Post.
Only 6 percent of Jewish Israelis consider the views of American President Barack Obama's administration pro-Israel.
I could be wrong but I think this is the lowest any American president has never had - go figure.
"Some of the indications we have seen in the last few weeks make it more difficult for Israelis to see the US in its traditional role as an honest broker," said Shoval, a former ambassador to the US, who will head a committee on Israel-American relations that national security adviser Uzi Arad will form soon. "The vast majority of Israelis don't blame the prime minister for a confrontation with the US. They are putting...

Does the President's oath mean anything?
posted 8 months ago - by Willie McNillie
There was a time when if the President of the United States spoke things to the world such as have been said recently, such a President would be tried for treason and if convicted be put to death. Of course times such as those no longer exist in the mad dash to destroy any credibility this country had remaining after the fiascos of the past twenty years.
Every President who has taken office since George Washington recites the following oath at their inauguration:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
A President is under oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. What does the Constitution...
